Hi there, I'm Tony and an old school friend of Bob's. I just moved to Gurnee, IL (Six Flags!) after living in Chicago for the last 15 or so years. I have two boys, Kyle (3) and Shaun (11 mo.) who keep me and my wife quite busy and entertained. I'm a videogame nerd/collector at heart but have lots of love for pnp games, so I'm looking forward to the adventure!

Hi all,
I'm Scott, I've known Bob off and on since he was a wee lad. I'm currently running one campaign online, about to start another, running three live session groups, playing in two online campaigns, blogging (nearly daily), writing two webcomics, and writing my own RPG. I'm spread pretty thin -- but what the heck? -- count me in. I'll find time to post somehow!

Hey hey!
I'm Mark. I'm a lifelong gamer who last played D&D Basic & Expert edition in the 80's when I was about 13. Currently running a Roll20.net 5th Edition campaign as DM and playing D&D Encounters at the local game store on Wednesdays as a Dwarf Cleric. I live in Geneva, IL with my wife Lisa and our 2 kids, Jennifer (4) and David (2 month).

Hey Mark,
My wife likes 5th ed. Maybe we could arrange to stop by and guest-star in your campaign sometime?
I'm thinking we're just going to push Thorsan through every door, close it after him, and wait for him to kill everyone.
Bob, is Thorsan going to be taking any heat damage from wearing platemail armor in the desert...?

Depends if you guys decide to travel during the day or the night, and any other roleplaying that may help alleviate the effects of the sun.

Hi everyone. I'm Jeremy. I've been a fixture in Bob's life since at least high school. Which means I also know Tony, Scott, Ronny, Bryant, and Kevin from back then. Really there's only one person on here who doesn't know me - Kassandra. I live in Ames, Iowa where I'm a history professor. I have two children: Benjamin (5) and Noah (8 months).
I am running a campaign out there and play in Scott's online game. Plus boardgaming.

There may be a few others lurking. A good friend of ours just got a promotion at work, and I left an open invite for her to join as well once things calm down a bit. There's also some of Kev's friends and family I invited and are welcome if they decide to join up at some point. I have a couple ideas for secondary gamers as well if people drop out or lose interest.

I have to say I'm excited to be running a game again. It's even more exciting that most of the old crew plus some new blood is participating.

I'm just happy to be playing some d&d. I've had a long running star trek game with friends for a while now, and you know how much I love my trek, but there is just something special about coming back to the comfort blanket of 2nd ed.

Hi everybody! I think Kass and Tristan may be the only participants here that I haven't met. So, nice to make both your virtual acquaintances! Everyone else here I have known in the past and/or for the past 20-25 years! It feels good to be in touch with you all once again ☺
A quick catch-up for everyone: I work in a medical laboratory as a pathology assistant, have been happily partnered for the last 8 years, and have been living back in Streamwood for about 6 years. I still game on occasion: console, tabletop board games, and some mtg once in a while.
I am currently reading Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. Has anyone else played Zombicide: Black Plague?

Kevin lives on the posh North side of Streamwood. He's more apt to hang out in trendy Hoffman Estates, Scott.
