Are spellcasters allowed to pray for/memorize a lower level spell in the place of a higher level one? (Fill higher level slots with lower level spells?)

I don't believe there's anything in the Player's Handbook that really says one way or the other.

I'm okay with that, but there are other spells you can use that might fill the same need (especially if you want additional healing) in some of the other supplementary books. Check out the player option series here... www.purpleworm.org/rules/ There are some spells that I'm not allowing, like orison, but if there's something that interests you run it by me. |
