Baal settled into a spot of stone, one without spider guts or blood and began to commune with Ramman. He hoped the others would settle in.

After about an hour and a half, Alfbern stiffly groaned and was able to groggily move about. Saskia did not notice anything else out of the ordinary or hear anything down here. It was actually quite cool and pleasant in comparison to the above ground. Since she had the time to observe the area a bit, it seemed that this area had gotten the worst of some sandstorms in the past, as holes in the dome above accounted for the drift that had broken their fall. There was a good chance that this was the remains of Pazar. She remembered that there was writing on the statue's book that still had not been deciphered.

Alfbern mumbled in the language of his childhood, "Errm...gerrrreff....hughn."
His tongue was thick and heavy. He groped around for his dropped weapons and got himself sitting up relatively stable. Then he looked at his sister and asked, "Vriggmer?"
