If anyone was already eating the spider meat, Arristuun watched them very carefully for adverse reactions. For his part, he planned to stick to camel meat as long as he could.

Some time was spent by those on watch to preserve their assorted meat better. A small fire was lit and meat was cooked and dried. The spider pieces had a crustacean-like flavor to them, much like a lobster or shrimp. It had a slightly bitter note to it though, which would keep it from winning any contests at the fair. There were no ill effects observed and the party continued to travel the trail. There were dark clouds on the horizon today, building from the south.
Flashes of lightning could be seen as the troop came closer to the end of the craggy hills. The clouds swelled above violently. Rain started to drop. However, this was no common rain.
Am the Goat squealed in pain as it ran under Arristuun's legs! The rain was burning any exposed skin it came in contact with!
[Please post intentions in the next folder, Acid Rain and other fun tales.]

((I'll have Baal change his spells before the group heads out once again))
Baal simply observed the moments of levity between Galatea and Lucky. He kept his attention focused on their surroundings as they traveled. They didn't need to be caught surprised by any more giant creatures!
*****
The skies grew dark and this storm did not look like a normal storm! Baal looked for a suitable amount of craggy rock he could fit the party under.
"Everyone, follow me!" He rushed toward a tall jutting rock formation and began to call for the blessings of Ramman. He pulled out a sizeable hunk of dry, somewhat sandy clay from his sack and drenched it in some clean water from his skin.
"Ramman the Strong! Grant us shelter from this demon-rain by your mighty will!" Baal molded the clump of clay into a cavern like hovel. A bolt of lightning struck the large rocks. They glowed white hot and shifted into a crude domed structure with an opening big enough for two humanoids to enter through at once. ((Casting stone Shape))
