Also known as, after we discuss things without the DM on chat or text message, post some sort of misleading BS here.

I'm not the only one who's noticed we have no clerics, right? I sure hope our last two PCs turn out to be clerics...

Kevin is finishing a druid and Tristan (Sean's friend) should have a straight up cleric. I should hopefully have them this evening. If we're still waiting I'll move us forward by noon tomorrow.

I'm confused. Were we traveling in the wagon during the daytime? And did they drop us off right at the end of the day? I thought we were putting up tents to rest for whatever was left of the day. If it was only like an hour until sunset and putting up a tent takes 40 minutes, Alfbern would not have wasted the time. He'd have rigged something more temporary so they could start moving once the sun set.
I was working under the assumption that we were being left some time in the morning or early afternoon at the latest.

[He motioned to a desolate landscape of empty desert. He and a troop of horsemen stood at the base of a craggy, dry mountain range. The red light of a dying day, was still strong enough to hurt.]
There's still time to reconsider camping or try traveling at night, but I did post the above within the first post.

Maybe we stay where we are for a day to get our bearings, regain our strength and adjust to a cycle of sleeping by day and traveling by night?

That sounds smart.

I posted this, but it makes sense to wait for the heat of the day to abate before heading out.

So, for further clarification, are we on the first night of "staying where we are and getting our bearings", or on the second night of "traveling by night"?

I suspect Albern is, by force of will, turning the first night into traveling by night.

First night. No one has decided to set watches or such. Or commit to night travel.

I just wanted to say that even though it took a while to get everyone on board and posting... I'm very happy with the level of participation on the board so far. I understand that 2nd edition isn't everyone's strong point. It's just easier for me to run as I practically had the rules memorized in high school. I'm enjoying the interaction between the old and new blood a lot. I want to see a little more background worked into some of the next posts, Scott's (Arristuun's) comment about an adventure that Tony's PC (Bit) hadn't been on was great. Kass, I like the playing of the chaotic part of your alignment as well, just try to remember that you aren't role playing Harley Quinn. She's more Chaotic Evil or Neutral. And Thorsan is quickly becoming one of my favorite PC's. Nice to have you on board, Mark.

Thorsan and Andel would have got along great. Or stripped down and naked wrestled each other. One of those two.

Can't it be both?
